Make sure you have at least 12 of straight pipe before the flow switch. We went on a trip and came back to a green pool zero cholorine. I have kept it clean and serviced it at the proper intervals so this is a surprise. The aquarite has no lights on meaning power led light and generating lights are off although it is showing the salt count to be 3200.

Using information provided by hayward pool we have created the following troubleshooting guide to help pool owners understand the diagnostic codes and quickly. Check that the flow switch is plugged into the connector on the bottom of the control unit and that the wire is not cut or damaged. Just like any other salt chlorine generator the aqua rite may need a quick tune up from time to time. If none of the below remedies solves your issue you may need to replace your flow switch.

The no flow light is an indication that there is something funny going on with the flow in your piping or the flow switch itself. The hayward aqua rite has sensed a no flow condition and has stopped generating chlorine. No flow led illuminated. I have a goldline aquarite swg has been running trouble free since january 2006.

If there is an issue with the flow the no flow light will flash up to 60 seconds at start up.
